Tabriz, still known as city without the beggars

Najafi said Business Culture, effort and honour is within the people of Tabriz and Azerbaijan and so beggary is an uncommon way of making money.

He also added: “People of Tabriz are standing on their own feet to gain profits and beggary or acts like it is not in their culture.
Najafi insisted that continuous effort of people in working has made equal income distribution among the citizens of Tabriz.

He also mentioned the role of NGO’s in the reducing beggars in city and added: “from the past, Relief Committee of Imam Khomeini, social welfare and Community support for the needy people had great effects on reducing beggars.
